iWound is dedicated to assisting beside health care providers with wound care knowledge. iWound is intended for informational and educational purposes only. Health care providers should at all times exercise their own independent clinical judgement when using this app in conjunction with patient care. Health care providers are responsible for determining if the treatment information provided on iWound is appropriate in light of each patient’s unique history and circumstances, including but not limited to, a patient’s past medical history, allergies or sensitivities. Health care providers assume all risk for any actions they may take in reliance on the iWound app. If the recommendations on iWound are implemented, they must be approved by a licensed physician, written on a patient’s chart and signed by a licensed physician prior to initiating treatment. iWound shall not be liable for any loss or damage of whatever nature, whether special, direct, indirect, punitive, consequential or any other type of loss or damage whatsoever, whether in contract, negligence, tort or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the use of iWound.
